Kitfix Swallow Group Ltd, known as KSG, started in 1960 in Walthamstow, London, before relocating to Norfolk in the 1980s.
Originally known as Kitfix, they imported toys from Italy and Japan, but later stopped importing and started developing and manufacturing their own quality craft kits instead.
The company grew quickly and acquired other companies along the way but they've remained an independent family owned business who now sell their products in more than 20 countries ... so you know they must be good.
In 1989, KSG acquired Sequin Art® from Impex of London. (If you haven't seen Sequin Art before, let me show you)
KSG have become well known for producing quality and innovative craft kits which are manufactured in the UK, so it's good to know that you'll also be supporting Britain when you buy Sequin Art.
Sequin Art is such a simple idea ... but what a beautiful result!
All you do is place a velvet design onto a framed polystyrene base, then simply select a coloured sequin and place a pin through the hole to create a perfect picture.

Let me show you ...
Lay out the brightly coloured sequins, pins, flocked board and polystyrene frame.
Use the colour guide and the colour photograph as your guide.
Place the backing sheet into the polystyrene frame and pin each corner to hold it tight.
The backing sheet is printed with dots to show you where the sequins and beads go.
Choose a sequin colour and place a pin through the hole in the dot.
If you make a mistake, it's easy to correct it - just pull out the pin and change or move the sequin or bead.
Build up your picture by adding each of the different coloured sequins.
Work with the different colours in any order you like.
And finally...
Show off your masterpiece!
NB: Junior Sequin Art uses an easy to follow, full colour pre-printed design, making these kits suitable for younger children from age 6 upwards.
